Abstract
Riskesdas (2013) showed prevalence clean and healthy behavior in Indonesia by 32,3% and
prevalence clean and healthy behavior in Bekasi by 31,6 %. Prevalence intestinal parasitic infection ini Pondok Gede, Bekasi by 37 %. This study was conducted to know about description of knowledge, attitude, clean and healthy behavior of parents about intestinal parasitic infection among children. This study uses cases-control study design. Respondents of this study is parents and children lived in area UPTD Puskesmas Jatiwarna. The result of statistical test show
description of knowledge clean and healthy behavior of parents is 72,4%, description of attitude clean and healthy behavior of parents 70,4%, description of clean and healthy behavior of parents 55,1% and prevalence rate of intestinal parasitic infection in children is 29,6%. Bivariate analysis showed the relationship knowledge of clean and healthy behavior parents with intestinal parasitic infection in children (p=0,000), the relationship attitude of clean and healthy behavior parents with intestinal parasitic infection in children (p=0,000), and the relationship of clean and healthy
behavior parents with intestinal parasitic infection in children (p=0,000). The result of this
research showed parents with good knowledge, attitude, clean and healthy behavior will reduce
the risk of children infected by intestinal parasitic.
