Abstract

Hospital is one of many organizational forms that run in health services. Nurses are the most human resources who directly involved with patients and their family for 24 hours. The quality of nurses’ performance can be viewed as a good or bad indicator of a hospital’s health service. This study aimed to understand whether there is a relationship between period of employment and education level for work stress on inpatient nurses. The method was cross sectional design, 74 samples were gathered using saturated sampling method. The results of statistical revealed that there has a relationship between level of education and work stress on nurse (p = 0,009), and there is also has relation between period of employment and work stress on nurse (p = 0,008). The results showed a relationship between period of employment and education level against work stress on inpatient nurses in Tk. II Moh. Ridwan Meuraksa Jakarta hospital. This is due to the longer period of employment and level of education were not in accordance with his competence will cause work stress on nurse
