Abstract
Objective: To determine the relationship between Age, Menarche’s age, Menstrual Period with Endometriosis events at Tangerang’s General Hospital. Methods: This is a descriptive analytic study using cross-sectional study design. This study consists of three variables, namely: the Age, the Menarche’s Age, the Menstrual Period. Where the Age variables are divided into four age groups: <20 years old, 21-30 years old, 31-40 years old, >40 years old. The Menarche age variable is divided into < 12 years old and ≥ 12 years old and the last variable Menstrual period is divided into two groups: ≤ 7 days and > 7 days. The data were analyzed using Chi Square statistical test. Results: A total 355 subjects. consist of 166 people diagnosed with endometriosis and 189 people who did not. The results of the chi square analysis, showed the relationship between age to endometriosis (p = 0.000). The results of chi square analysis showed the relationship between menarche’s age with endometriosis (p =0.008). And the chi square analysis test between Menstrual period to
endometriosis results (p = 0.008) showed that there is a relationship. Conclusion: There are relationships between age, menarche’s age, and menstrual period with Endometriosis.
