Abstract
According to Riskesdas 2013 the primary hypertension has a high prevalence in Indonesia (25.8%) and continue to increase from the previous years so that lead to improved disease due to complications of hypertension such as stroke and heart disease. According to Riskesdas
2007 the incidence in hypertension to driver is higher than the society in general, it is becaused of the risk factor from the job as a driver such as smoking, low physical activity and stress. This research aims to know the level relation between smoking, physical activity
and stress into the incidence of primary hypertension for driver’s employee at CV. Anugerah Mulia Cemerlang Cemerlang on March – April 2016’s Periode. This research is descriptive analytic with case control’s design. The sample for this research of 54 persons which has been taken with the consecutive sampling has fulfilled the certain criteria. the data collection was
done by using a questionnaire and blood preasure measurement. Tested the statistical data obtained with using chi-square. The result obtained are examined in the form of value p=0,002 and p = 0,004 (p<0,005) in variable level of smoking and physical activity brings
about to value p=0,129 (p>0,05) on the variable stress, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of smoking and physical activity against the incidence of hypertension in employees’s transport driver. This shows the need to provide education on risk factor regarding the driver of hypertension related jobs as a driver In order
for hypertension can be prevented and avoided the complications resulting from hypertension at early stage.
