      PREVALENSI PRESBIKUSIS DAN FAKTOR RISIKO YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN PRESBIKUSIS PADA LANSIA DI PANTI SOSIAL TRESNA WERDHA BUDI MULIA 2 JAKARTA BARAT

      Abstract
      Nowadays, the worldwide prevalence of presbycusis had been increasing. Presbycusis percentage cases in the world was 30-45%, whereas Indonesia was 2,6%. Indonesia is a country that entering an era of elderly structure population, this may cause the increasing of presbycusis prevalence due to the increased of life expectancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of presbycusis and factors that related to presbycusis in elderly such as age, gender, hypertension, diabetes melitus, hypercholesterolemia and smoke. This research was an analytical observational study with a cross sectional study design. There were 85 respondents aged ≥ 60 years. The sample was taken by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using chi square test and continued with logistic regression test. The data collected by physical examination and interview using questionnaire. The result showed that the prevalence of presbycusis in Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 2 was 23,5%. Bivariate analysis showed that there were a relation between age, hypertension and smoke to presbycusis (p<0,05) while there were no relation between gender, diabetes melitus and hypercholesterolemia to presbycusis (p>0,05). The multivariate analysis result showed that the most influence factor associated with presbycusis was grade 1 hypertension.
