Preeclampsia is a specific pregnancy syndrome which can cause disturbances in various organs. Preeclampsia is the third leading cause of death in the obstetrics and gynecology. This disease is a multifactorial disease that consists of predisposing factors and genetic factors of maternal. The aims of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between maternal predisposing factor to the possibility of the onset of preeclampsia. Departement of Obstetric and Gynecology Salak Bogor Hospital. Subject in this study were patients with criteria : pregnant women who had a complete medical record, and undiagnosed preeclampsia, and don’t have previous preeclampsia history. Data were obtained from medical record. Retrieval of data using simple random sampling methods. ChiSquare of this study showed that there is a relationship between the predisposing factors to possible incidence of preeclampsia (p<0,05). Multivariate analysis showed that probability
of patient who had predisposing factors to have preeclampsia is 94,8%.
