HUBUNGAN ANTARA KUALITAS TIDUR DENGAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS PEMBANGUNAN NASIONAL “VETERAN” JAKARTA ANGKATAN 2015
Blood pressure is one of the important index to measure cardiovascular system function. Systolic blood pressure increase to 139mmHg or if diastolic blood pressure increase to 89mmHg, it indicates hypertension. Factors that cause hypertension. Quality of sleep, age, gender, family history of hypertension, physical activity, high sodium consumption, obesity, smoking and drinking coffee. This study was aimed to investigate the relation between sleep quality and blood pressure among students in Medical Faculty of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta. This was a descriptive-analytical study used cross sectional as the method of the study. Simple random sampling was the method of collecting data, and
there were 101 students who participated in this study that qualified the inclusion and exclusion. Data were collected by measuring people's blood pressure directly and by spreading questionnaire to participants. One of the Chi Square method, Fisher, was the method to get the statistical test done. The results obtained in the form of value P, where the value of P was P > 0.05. The results I was concluded that there was no significant relation between sleep quality and blood pressure among students in Medical Faculty of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta.
