      Abstract
      Background: Surgery is the treatment of all actions that use invasive to open or display the body part to be handled. Patients who had undergone surgery were transferred to the infirmary for post surgery recovery. One of the nursing interventions that can be done is early mobilization. Early mobilization is intended to restore the function of the activity of daily living (ADL) of patients such as bathing, clothing, eating, dressing, mobilization, and control of defecation or urinating. Purpose: To find out the description of the application of early mobilization on the patient's daily living activities fulfilment disorder post appendectomy in RSUD Sleman Yogyakarta. Method: The method used is descriptive case study. The subject of the case study were two individual clients post apendiktomi. Data analysis was done descriptively in the form of nursing care process by comparing two cases of patient response to the implementation of early mobilization. Result: Results show both clients are equally able to restore independence in daily activities such as before the operation. However, the first patient is quicker in achieving stages of movement than the second patient. It is influenced by factors that influence a person in early mobilization. Conclusion: Early mobilization has a significant effect on the ability of ADL fulfillment in post appendectomy patients in RSUD Sleman Yogyakarta.
