Abstract

Hospital is a health care institution which are providing comprehensive service such as inpatients, outpatients, and emergency. In order to carry out the service is good then the required health personnel who have competence in the field of health in order to guarantee the quality, efficiency and accountability of service. RSI Sultan Agung Semarang has 12 admissions, the average outpatient each day up to 513 patients and inpatient amounted to 53 patients. In RSI Sultan Agung is still in the accumulation in patients at the point of registration especialy in the morning. In the other handoutpatient registration clerk should provide information to patients so that the service to be very long. The purpose of this study is to determine the needs of the registrar of outpatient and inpatient based method by WISN in RSI Sultan Agung Semarang year of 2016.This research is a descriptive study time approaches cross sectional. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling technique.The data collection method used in this study is observation and interviews.Based on observations in order to perform activities of forcing registrations of new patients outpatient takes 7 minutes, patient registration outpatient takes 3 minutes, forcing registrations patients using insurance and takes 4 minutes, phone call patient registration takes 3 minutes and admission of patients need 12 minutes.Working days during one year in RSI Sultan Agung is 278 days.Based on calculations by the WISN formulation need for the addition of 1 registrar so the services can be more effectively and efficiently.
