Abstract

The process of birthing, childbirth, parturition is normal phase for a mother. In this process, not least the mother experiencing health problems that can increase the amount of morbidity and mortality of infants. The success of the health service and health development programme measured from maternal mortality (AKI) and infant mortality (AKB). According to the Department of health of the Demak in 2015 AKI as much 81.68 per 100,000 live births and AKB as much as 6.4 per 1000 live births. It shows a midwife as a giver of maternal and child health services, required to provide sustainable midwifery care (continuity of care).The kind of research is case studies using a process approach in midwifery using 7 steps varney and documented in SOAP. The results of this research obtained diagnosis Ny. N 22-year age G1P0A0 gestational age 36 weeks 6 days gestation, with physiological complaints are often a TUB at night and have been given counselling on the inconvenience of CE III. On process pregnancy Ny. N maternity physiologically uses the APN 58 steps, however in practice the use of the APD are less complete. The time of parturition. N physiologically, visit (Kf4) done at 4 weeks postpartum and Ny. N was given counselling on contraceptives for nursing mothers. Baby Ny. N already given MP Breast milk at the age of 6 days and have given the motivation to Ny. N and families about the importance of breast milk exclusively.This case study has been conducted in a comprehensive manner the care of pregnancy, childbirth, childbirth and KB and the infants. But in this case study there are gaps with regard to planning and in the process doing the care.
