Abstract

Visits are each arrival of the visitor (patient) to the health service to gain available services at the health service. The society awareness to visit Dental Polyclinic of community health center of Mranggen 1 to obtain promotion and being less preventive action. This research has aim to describe the knowledge level correlation about dental and oral health by the type of patient visits in Dental Polyclinic of community health center (Puskesmas) of Mranggen 1. This research is about descriptive survey research. This kind of approaches using cross sectional design. The population including this study are every visitors in Dental Polyclinic of community health center (Puskesmas) of Mranggen 1 in a month shows on average 222 patients, which is sampling were accomplished by purposive sampling. Samples in this research as many as 33 samples with the age limit of 18-60 years old who fulfill some criteria that is can read and write. The analysis data used to analyze with descriptive analysis (univariate analysis).The result of this research shows that the knowledge level about the Dental and Oral Health mostly including in the medium criteria (76%).Based on the highest value typical service visit on curative service (91%).It can be conclude that there is correlation between the knowledge level about oral and dental health with some kind of patient visits inDental Polyclinic of community health center (Puskesmas) of Mranggen 1. It is suggested for the respondent to increase the awareness and interest for maintaining dental and oral health by visiting Dental Polyclinic of community health center (Puskesmas) to control dental and oral health every 6 months. And also it is necessary for further researches observed based on the other variable that has aim to increase some type of visits of promoting and preventive services in Dental Polyclinic of community health center (Puskesmas) of Mranggen 1.
