Abstract
Postpartum blues is sadness or moodiness after childbirth. It is only a matter of time after two weeks since the birth of a baby. When the postpartum blues can not experience postpartum depression. In 2015 there are 2 cases of postpartum blues and 2016 1 postpartum blues cases in Wonotunggal Puskesmas Working Area. One way to reduce the risk of postpartum blues is by following the class of pregnant women.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal class and husband support with postpartum blues. This research was conducted in Work Area of Wonotunggal Public Health Center of Batang Regency. This type of research is correlational by using retrospective studies. Population research is all postpartum in April-May 2017. Sampling technique with total sampling. All samples were given an EPDS questionnaire and a husband support questionnaire. Univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis with Chi Square statistical test.The results showed that there was no correlation between maternal classes with postpartum blues with p-value of 0,717 (> 0,05), and there is no husband support relationship with postpartum blueswith p-value 1,000 (> 0,05).From the results of this study is expected to increase knowledge and can overcome postpartum blues events. To the family or husband can also participate in the class of pregnant women so as to provide support to the mother during pregnancy, maternity, and childbirth.
