Abstract

One of the programs in reducing maternal mortality rate is by the existence of integrated antenatal service. Integrated antenatal care is conducted by competent health personnel, ie doctors, midwives, nurses and other health workers in accordance with their authority in an integrated manner (DHO, 2012). Based on routine reports and results of monitoring and evaluation activities undertaken by district health offices of Pemalang that the Health Centers implementing ANC is integrated only 14 Health Center. The purpose of this research is to know the factors related to the implementation of integrated antenatal care program by midwife in Pemalang. This research was conducted in all areas of Health Centers in Pemalang. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all midwives working in the area of Helath Centers in Pemalang. Sampling technique using simple random sampling. All samples will be given a questionnaire on the implementation of an integrated antenatal program. The results of this study show have 58,2% of communication, 63% have complete human resources, 55% have good leadership support, 60,8% have a good SOP and 63% have of implementing integrated ANC. Then the results of this study showed that all variables (communication, SDM, leadership support and SOP) related to the implementation of integrated antenatal program. Communication and SDM variables are the most influential variables in the implementation of integrated antenatal care programs. From the results of this study is expected that the Department of Health provides completeness of human resources in each Health Centers, SOP to be installed in each room in the Health centers to be realized and the need for monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of integrated antenatal services by the leadership of Helath Center.
