Abstract
Nausea vomiting is a normal complaint experienced by 50-80% of trimester 1 pregnant women. Condition of pregnant women is very susceptible to the use of drugs in reducing pregnant women's nausea using complementary therapies, among others, with fruits and herbs or traditional plants that can be done with easy at home. Ginger and lemon are herbs that are often used by trimester 1 pregnant women to reduce nausea vomiting. This study aims to determine the effect of infusion of water (lemon and ginger emprit) on the sickness of nausea vomiting trimester 1 pregnant women in Nur Hikmah Pratama Clinic. The research type used quasy expriment with pre-test and post-test on control group and expriment group. The population is trimester 1 pregnant women in Nur Hikmah Pratama Clinic. The number of samples were 34 trimester pregnant women 1 with purposive sampling technique. The dosage used is 140 gr lemon, 2.75 g of ginger, 250 ml of water and 10 gr sugar given for 4 days. Data analysis using mann-whitney wilcoxon test because the data is not normally distributed. The results of the study showed the influence of Infused Water (Lemon and Ginger Emprit) on nausea vomiting in pregnant women trimester 1. Of 17 pregnant women with moderate-severe vomiting, after consuming infused water (lemon and ginger emprit) intensity of nausea vomiting 16 pregnant women In the light category with p value 0.0001. From the results of this study is expected health workers need to provide health education to pregnant women about non-pharmacological methods drill nausea vomiting is infused waer (lemon and ginger emprit). Trimester 1 pregnant women with complaints of nausea and vomiting can make intravenous water (lemon and ginger emprit) at home.
