      Abstract
      Based on Permenpan Nomor 30 Tahun 2013 listed that general hospital for class B require 45 persons of medical recorders.General Hospital Salatiga have 27 person with details that basic of 7 person are educate from medical record and 20 person are educate from senior high school. Wich one workload is high, so need some calculation of labor requirement. The goal of this reseacrh is to knowing about the amount of medical recorder needs in Installed of Medical Record of General Hospitals Salatiga.The type of this research is descriptive with sample is medicals recorders and the population is 27 person. This reasearch is using cross sectional approach. Collect data is using interview and observation. Analysis data is using formula WISN.The result of this research for working time available in Installed of Medical Record General Hospitals Salatiga is 1738,8 hours / years, workload in Installed of Medical Record General Hospital Salatiga is 304194,151 minutes / years and standard allowance is 25 % and the needs of medical recorder is 30 persons.The conclusion of this research is need 3 addition of medical recorder for Installed Medical Record General Hospital Salatiga. The addition of these officers is determined on the basis of high workload there are on assembling, outpatien code and filing. Because in this section officers with medical record education background has an important role. The addition of medical recorders have a purpose for make the work becomes more effective and efficient
