Abstract
According to UNICEF (2011), data on the high incidence of growth and developmental disorders in children under five years, especially motor development disorder (27.5%) or 3 million children are affected. Data ofPoly Tumbang in dr. Kariadi Semarang Central Java City (2011) there were 264 cases of referral of developmental disorder increased to 299 cases (11,7%) in 2012. The case of obstructive development of children under five in Kalicari since February 2015 until April 2017 there are 21 visits to DDTK. The purpose of this researchwas to determine the relation between parent stimulation with child development aged 2-3 years in Kalicari Pedurungan Semarang City 2017. This research was conducted in the Kalicari village. This research used a descriptive correlation study which is correlative approach of cross sectional. Thisresearchpopulation was mothers who have toddlersages2-3years in the Dadapsari village. The amount of sample in this study was 60 respondents.The sample determination technique is Proportionate Random Sampling. Analysis of univariate with frequency distribution. Analysis of bivariate with Chi Square test. The result of research shows that the majority of stimulation are 43 (66,15%) respondents and Child development is appropriate that is 41 (63,1%) children. There is a relationship between parent stimulation with child development aged 2-3 years, with a value of x2= 5.652>x2 table (3.841), p value 0.017x2 table (3.841), p value 0.017
