The CT scan has a universal application for the examination of all organs and has a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses a combination of X-rays and computer technology to produce both horizontal and vertical slice images of the body. Hepatocarcinoma cell is a type of hypervascular lesion, CT scan and MRI can display arterial image by using contrast media. Abdominal CT scan in case of hepatocarcinoma cell in Radiology Installation of Haji Surabaya Hospital was done by three-phase abdominal CT scan using bolus tracking technique with autotrigger. This research aims to further study about abdominal CT scan procedure in case of hepatocarcinoma cell in the installation Radiology of RSU Haji Surabaya.This research was conducted at Radiology unit of RSU Haji Surabaya in March 2017 until May 2017 with subjects to 3 phase CT Abdomen CT scan requests with Hepato carcinoma Cell cases, 2 radiographer and 2 radiology specialists and 1 clinician doctor. The type of research used is qualitative research with case study approach.Based on the results of the analysis of research data on the examination technique of CT Scan hepatic abdomen in patients intra-abdominal hepatic tumor in Radiology Installation RSU Haji Surabaya can be concluded that the technique of examination of CT Scan abdomen hepar in patient of intra-abdominal tumor hepar at Radiology Installation RSU Haji Surabaya with the preparation fasting 6 hours before the examination, the scanning area used in the CT scan of hepatic abdominal tract in patients intra-abdominal hepatic tumors in Radiology Installation RSU Haji Surabaya from the diaphragm to symphysis phubis, scanning area benefits in wider ranging from crista illiaca to symphysis phubis on The pre-transplant liver patient is able to diagnose or evaluate the abdominal area as a whole rather than simply evaluating whether or not the calsified plaque is present, and the disadvantage is that the examination time is longer.
