Abstract

Medical record is a source of data that can be used for legal evidence, one of which is visum et repertum. Other than by medical recorder, visum et repertum at RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal is also conducted by hospital forensics officers, although it has been explained that every officer and hospital must maintain the security and confidentiality of the patient's medical information. The purpose of this study is to know the flow of procedures for the release of medical information in the implementation of visum et repertum and to know the problems in the process of releasing information for the purposes of visum et repertum in RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal.The type of this research is qualitative deskritif, the subject is medical record officer, and expert doctor responsible for making visum et repertum, the object is documents related visum et repertum. Data analysis using transcripts of observation results and interview results written or typed what it is not exceeded or reduced its contents, then reduced to table categorization, from the categorization table is done coding or grouping data to generate the coding chart. The data that have been created graph coding can be presented in the form of data tables.The results of the study indicate that the type of case requested, the requesting party and the implementer of the visum is in accordance with the procedure, the problem is in the implementation that is not in accordance with the procedure. We recommend a review of Protap (Permanent Procedure), and held a socialization of the Protap (Permanent Procedure) Making Visum et Repertum in Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal to the parties involved in the release of medical information
