In the application of magnetic field used magnitude 0.064 Tesla - 1.5 Tesla (Notosiswoyo, 2004). On the genuine MRI examination by Moeller and Reif using coils knee or genu coil but in Installation Radiology Panti Rapih Yogyakarta using a special body coil on the case of a broad tumor.The type of this research is qualitative research with case study approach. The data were collected by observation, documentation, interview to radiologist and sending doctor from March to June 2017. Data obtained in the analysis using open categorization and coding tableThe purpose of this research is to know the procedure of MRI Genu examination on tumor case using body coil, the reason of body coil use, and know the profitability and loss The result from the research shows that the use of body coil in the case of tumor in Radiology Installation Panti Rapih Yogyakarta Hospital is not done special preparation on Patients only peripheral different tools, because that is prepared is a body coil. The MRI Genu examination technique in tumor cases using this body coil is the same as the MRI genu-inspection technique in general, it just does not use a saggital cut to show the ACL.
