Research has been done in Radiology Installation of Radiotherapy Unit Ken Saras Hospital Semarang about radiation of Hypofraksinasi on Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) in Cerebellopontine area with IMRT technique. the dosage recommendation given to the cerebellopontine region was 6Gy in 30 fractions, but the author's field saw that the dose given 60Gy in 10 fractions. The purpose of this research is to know the radiation management and the reason used Hypofraksinasi method on Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) in Cerebellopontine area with IMRT technique in Radiology Installation of Radiotherapy Unit of Ken Saras Hospital Semarang.This type of research is qualitative with case study approach. The data was collected in January 2018 at Radiology Installation of Radiotherapy Unit of Ken Saras Hospital Semarang by observation method, in-depth interview with Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist and Radiographer. The data obtained from the study were analyzed by an interactive model, making the interview transcripts subsequently reduced and processed in the form of open coding, presented in the form of quotations and then can be drawn conclusionsThe results of this study indicate that radiation radiation Hypofraksination on Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) in Cerebellopontine area with IMRT technique in Radiology Installation Radiotherapy Unit Ken Saras Hospital Semarang include patient consultation, molding process and CT-simulator, contouring, planning medical physics then dose measurement and verification and then radiation treatments. The method of hypofraksination is used because arteriovenous malformation (AVM) with a large size can not be performed surgery, vascular embolization or stereotactic radiosurgery. In addition, with hypofraksinasi method provides a better response rate than the conventional fraction.
