Abstract
Lower back pain, an afflicting problem during pregnancy, occurs for approximately 60-80% in Indonesia. Pelvic rocking exercise helps to relief the hip joint muscles to lessen the pain. Pelvic tilt exercise enhances muscles flexibility to reduce the lower back pain. The purpose of this research is to discover the difference of pelvic rocking exercise and pelvic tilt exercise towards the reducing of the lower back pain during the third trimester of pregnancy. This research is conducted by using true experiment methods with designed pretest-posttest with control group in the working region of Community Health Clinic of Tanggungharjo, Grobogan Regency. There are 38 samples respondents and they are divided into two groups, there is a drop out towards two respondents. The writer applies simple random sampling for sample collection technic. The scale of pain is measured before doing the exercise, the appraised group undertakes the pelvic rocking exercise, while the controlled group performs the pelvic tilt exercise.
