Abstract

The research of the variation of central ray angulations on radiogaphic technique of knee jointexamination to the size of joint space have been done. The aim of this research to know the effect of variation central ray angulation on radiographic technique of knee joint examination to the size of joint space.Central ray angulation on knee joint examination must be done with 3-5 for AP projection and 5-7 for lateral projection. At clinical practice, this angulation didn't use yet. This research have done by experiment on knee joint phantom. The phantom was exposed with same factor exposure and different central ray angulation with range 0-15. The achieved data are processed by Anova test on SPSS program for windows version 17 and analized appropriate with related theory.
