Abstract

MRCP examination involving abdominal organs often cause motion artifacts caused by irregular breathing of patients, there is a method of image repair to reduce the motion of these artifacts by using Multivane technique. Multivane itself is influenced by several factors such as Multivane Percentage, if Multivane Percentage is set low it will produce low SNR and if set too high it will produce high SNR and image will blur. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Multivane Percentage variation on image quality and anatomical information.This research is a quantitative method. Reasearch subject is Radiologist specialist as research respondent. Research samples using 8 person who become the research probandus. The acquisition is do five times with variation of Multivane Percentage 80%, 100%, 160%, 240%, 320%.. Another parameter which controlled is TR 4000 ms, TE 100 ms, FOV 360 mm, Slice Thickness 7mm. Aspects of image quality Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), Contrast to Noise Ratio (CNR) and Information Anatomy in this study is in the organ area of Gallbladder, Cystic duct, Common Bile duct, Left Hepatic duct, Right Hepatic.
