Emesis gravidarum is general complaints delivered on pregnancy young. Happened pregnancy in women hormonal effect change because there has been increasing esterogen and hormone progesterone .Hormone estrogen in pregnancy will result in expenditure gastric acid is excessive so that may make it a cause nausea and vomiting. In addition to hormones estrogen to predict as when a human expenditure the chorionic gonadotropine ( hcg ) in the serum of of the placenta are causing in that way nausea to .The purpose of been disclosed in the research is aimed to know the difference the provision of stew ginger and infused water ginger lemon on reductions in the the intensity of an emesis gravidarum for pregnant women. A method of pre experiment design .A design used in this research was one group pretest posttest design .Sample in this research were 26 respondents who divided into 2 groups that each 13 respondents, are the groups of stew ginger and group infused water ginger lemon.The sampling method of collecting samples using purposive technique .Each group has received special treatment until the day of 4th , and measured an emesis gravidarum using sheets of observation PUQE (Pregnancy-Unique Quantification of Emesis and Nusea).The results of this study indicate that there is no difference between ginger stew and infused water ginger lemon to emesis gravidarum intensity, with p value 0,783 (> 0,05).This study concluded both treatment is equally could reduce emesis gravidarum. Expected family, health workers and the public may apply stew ginger and infused ginger drinking water lemon for pregnant women with emesis gravidarum.
