Knowledge of oral hygiene is very important for the formation of actions in maintaining oral hygiene, thus avoiding dental health problems. Behavior of healthy life for the community, especially dental and oral health is still less attention. This research uses descriptive analytic design with observational method approach that is "CrossSectional" data collection at one time (point time approach). The sampling technique used random sampling with the number of 58 patients. The research instrument was tested for dental and oral care knowledge by distributing the test to the patient and the calculus variable by examination by using glass of mouth and sonde on the dental teeth. The data were analyzed by Chi Square Test. The level of knowledge about dental and mouth care is largely 46.6% of respondents with moderate knowledge level. Calculus of the respondent index is largely 55.2% with medium criterion index criterion. There is correlation of knowledge about dental and mouth care with calculus in dentist patient in BLUD Puskesmas Jepang Regency of Kudus with p value = 0.000 and obtained X2 count = 52,809. Knowledge of dental and oral care is related to calculus in dental patient in BLUD UPT Puskesmas Japan, high knowledge of low level calculus index
