Abstract

Healthy pregnancy and childbirth are also influenced by mother's knowledge of pregnancy and her delivery, obtained through the visit of pregnant women or pregnant women's classes (Kasdu, 2010). Based on preliminary study at Kedungmundu Health Center Semarang coverage of pregnant women's class in 2017 is 600 pregnant women from 659 pregnant women. Interviewed 10 primigravida pregnant women, as many as 8 pregnant women experience anxiety facing childbirth.The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between knowledge of pregnant mother primigravida about signs of labor with anxiety facing childbirth in Kedungmundu District Health Center Semarang. This research was conducted in Kedungmundu Public Health Center Semarang. This research is observational with analytic survey method using cross sectional approach. The number of samples as many as 38 people. The sampling technique is using total sampling.Data collection is done in the area of Puskesmas Kedungmundu in April-Mei 2018. The data analysis technique used is Chi Square with ? 5%. The instrument used is a knowledge questionnaire and HRS-A to measure the level of anxiety in pregnant woman trimester III in the face of childbirth.The results showed that characteristics are the 20-25th (97,4%), education majority is High School (68,4%), and majority job is housewife (71,1%).
