Abstract

Number of signal averages (NSA) is one of the parameters that can affect the quality and information of the MRI image. Selection of parameters is necessary that the image produced. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the value of the NSA to quality and get a Cervical MRI information image on sagittal STIR sequences and NSA that generate value quality and information image with an optimal on Cervical MRI STIR sequences sagittal pieceThis research is a quantitative . The study was conducted with a 1.5 Tesla MRI at the Premier Bintaro Hospitals. Data in the form of 20 image sagittal STIR sequences MRI lumbar of the 5 volunteers with 4 variations NSA. Assessment is done by 3 people image respondents regarding information generated imagery. Data were SNR dan CNR analyzed by linear regression test and friedman test. The results showed that there was influence of NSA value variation on image quality and image information of MRI Cervical STIR sequence of sagital pieces with significance level of p value
