The results data show that Ny. M and Ny. K has a history of hypertension. Blood pressure Ny. M 180/90 mmhg and Ny. K 170/90 mmhg. Diagnosis of nursing that appears in the family Ny. M and Ny. K is Lack of knowledge about dietary hypertension b / d the inability of family to know health problem. Planning undertaken focused on Lack of knowledge about dietary hypertension b / d lack of information about diet hypertension in Ny. M and Ny. K. Planning is done by explaining and giving counseling about hypertension diit. Nursing action is done based on arranged planning, focused on health education about hypertensive diit by using back-sheets and leaflets such as explaining hypertension disease, foods that should not be consumed in patients with DM. Evaluation shows that the knowledge response about hypertensive diit on each client is almost the same. This is evidenced from the results of the level of knowledge of both clients showed a change in consumption patterns regarding hypertensive diit ie clients have not consumed low-salt food.
