      PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN RADIOGRAFI OESOFAGUS MAAG DUODENUM (OMD) PEDIATRIK PADA KASUS STENOSIS PILORUS DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD BANYUMAS

      Abstract
      Background : Examination of Oesofagus Maag Duodenum (OMD) is a radiographic examination of the gastrointestinal tract to look at the anatomical and physiological abnormalities of oesophageal, gastric and duodenal organs by using positive contrast media.The goal is to know the procedure of pediatric OMD examination in the case of pyloric stenosis in Radiology Departement of RSUD Banyumas and the reasons for using iodine contrast media.Methods : The kind of this research is qualitative with case study approach. Data was collected from February-April 2018 at Radiology Departement of RSUD Banyumas using observation method, in-depth interview and documentation. Data analysis is interactive model.Result : The results showed that the OMD examination was done with the patient's preparation that is checking the history of the patient, installed the NGT, not drinking milk for 5 hours before the examination. The examination used iodine contrast media as much as 30 ml and mixed with 70 ml NaCl which was inserted through Nasogastric Tube (NGT) tube. The projection used was AP Supine babygram, AP Supine post first stage contrast, AP Supine post contrast phase two and post contrast RPO. The examination was performed without using a fluoroscopy. Immobilization uses the help of the patient's family. Each radiological examination looks at radiation protection efforts. The reason for the use of iodine contrast media because it is the policy of RSUD Banyumas and the surgeon's request that pediatric OMD examination using iodine contrast media, iodine contrast media is more soluble in the body so as not to disturb the surgeon in performing surgery and the infant's condition is not perfect will be harmful when using barium sulfate
