Abstract
Background : MRI examination techniques use many sequences in an examination protocol, one of which is T1 Turbo Spin Echo (TSE) sequence and T1 Turbo Inversion Recovery Magnitude (TIRM) sequence. The sequence is a standard imaging protocol used to display an excellent brachial plexus anatomical region adjacent to fatty tissue. TSE sequences can display all peripheral nerves with high signal intensity and TIRM sequences have very low fat signals but fluid signals are very high. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference of anatomical information, as well as to find out better anatomical information in producing an informative image quality. Methods : The type of this research is quantitative research with experimental approach. The MRI Brachial Plexus examination used 10 Volunteer which resulted in 10 MRI sequences of T1 TSE images and 10 MRI sequences of T1 TIRM sequences. Furthermore, the results of the anatomical information image were assessed by 3 respondents. Data analysis was done by Cohen's Kappa test to know the level of reliabilitas from respondent's appraisal and continued by using Wilcoxon statistic test to test to hypothesis and see difference level of information of anatomical image. Results : The result of statistical test of Wilcoxon shows that there is difference of image information of MRI Brachial Plexus anatomy on T1 TSE sequence with T1 TIRM with p value of p 0,008 (p
