Kata kunci : Repellent, Aedes aegypti, Ekstrak Daun Sirih HijauAbstract Effectiviness of Leaves green Leaf (Piper betle l) As a Refractive Medicine (Repellent) Aedes aegypti In 2018. Background dengeu Dengue Fever (DHF) is an endemic disease in the tropics that has a high mortality rate, especially in children. Indonesia is a country with the highest rates of Dengue This research was aimed one of the plants of the family Piperaceae is a betel leaf plant. The many negative impacts of chemical insecticide use led to new research in safer, simpler, and environmentally sound vector control. Control using vegetable insecticides (bio insecticides) from plant extracts is one of the plant families considered to be a potential source of vegetable insecticides are Meliacea, Annonaceae, Astraceae, Piperaceae and Rutaceae. This research design this research uses quasi experimental design (Quasi Experimental Design, consist of control and treatment), data analysis using One Way Anova analysis Method of research by hand control and treatment presented in drum containing 25 Aedes aegypti mosquitoes for 6 hours with replicate 10 times per hour. The research results the result of research that is 10% concentration have protection power 56,45, concentration 20% have protection power 67,3%, concentration 40% have protection power 76,4%, concentration 80% have protection power 81,8%. According to commission pesticide repellent is considered to be effective if the protection power generated during 6 hours of test is above 90%. Concluded from this research can not yet say effective because at the highest concentration that is 80% only have protection power equal to 81,8%. It is Recommended suggestions for the Government should apply laws to replace mosquito-controlling substances from chemical pesticides to vegetable pesticides and for repellent producers to develop more natural-made repellent. Keywords : Repellent, Aedes aegypti, Effectiveness Of Leaves Green Leaf
