Background. Benigna Prostate Hiperplasia affects the quality of life in elderly men so it must be managed appropriately. The gold standard option for managing BPH is prostatic transurethralresection (TURP). One important complication of TURP is hematuria. Hematuria that occurs in surgery can be overcome by catheter traction and irrigation of the bladder with 0.9% NaCl. 0.9% NaCl is an ideal irrigation liquid because of its isotonic nature so it does not interfere when absorbedThe Aim. Knowing the management of bladder irrigation with 0.9% NaCl fluid on hematuria in patients with TURP surgery at a central surgical installation.Methodology. This research was carried out in the recovery room of the Central Surgical Installation of Tugurejo Hospital Semarang on 23 July - 3 August 2018. The design of this study used a case study. The population of this case study was patients with TURP post surgery at the central surgical installation of Tugurejo Hospital Semarang, the number of samples in this study were 4 respondents. Research uses the format of nursing care using assessment. In addition, researchers used SOP to perform actions, such as bladder irrigation SOP using 0.9% NaCl.Results. Based on a case study of 4 respondents who carried out bladder irrigation with 0.9% NaCl there was a clear reddish color on 3 respondents and clear color on 1 respondent. So that there is a problem with nursing risk of bleeding.Recommendation. Patients after TURP surgery can be given 0.9% NaCl irrigation fluid to reduce hematuria.
