Air bersih yang dihasilkan harus memenuhi persyaratan kesehatan dan mencukupi kebutuhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan air sungai menjadi air minum di PUDAM Kabupaten Boyolali.Metode penelitian digunakan adalah deskriptif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah sarana pengolahan air minum. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Analisis data yang digunakan berisi hasil penelitian yang dibandingkan dengan standar persyaratan menurut Permenkes RI No. 32 Tahun 2017 tentang Standar Baku Mutu Kesehatan Lingkungan dan Persyaratan Kesehatan Air untuk Keperluan Higiene Sanitasi, Kolam Renang, Solus Per Aqua, dan Pemandian Umum.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sumber air baku berasal dari sungai, sumur bor dan mata air. Kualitas air menunjukkan air tidak berbau, tidak berasa, tidak berwarna, dan jernih. Sisakhlor pada 12 sampel hasilnya 0,2-0,5 mg/liter, sedangkan total coliform dari 7 sampel yaitu 0 MPN/100 ml Golongan Coliform. Kuantitas air yang dihasilkan dengan kapasitas produksi 325,2 liter/detikmampu melayani jumlahpelanggan sebanyak 243.470 jiwa. Unit operasi pengolahan yang belum memenuhi prosedur yaitu unit intake dan koagulasi.Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah proses pengolahan air baku yang sudah tergolong baik, sumber air yang digunakan berasal dari sungai, sumur bor, dan mata air. Kualitas air yang dihasilkan sudah memenuhi persyaratan. Kuantitas air yang dihasilakan sudah mencukupi kebutuhan. Penilaian unit proses pengolahan mulai dari prasedimentasi, flokulasi, sedimentasi, filtrasi, dan resevoir sudah baik dengan hasil rata-rata penilaian unit proses sebesar 82%.
