dc.descriptionBACKGROUND-2015 World Health Organization (WHO) reported that the number of normal parturition in the world decreased by 34% from 546,000 to 358,000. while the incidence of disruption after the delivery process is the Post partum blues with a percentage of 50-80%, post partum depression of 12% and post partum psychosa is 10% (Fadelika, 2018). Labor often results in a tear in the birth canal, either spontaneous or surgical tear. Surgery done by surgery is called an episiotomy. Episiotomy is intended so that tears can occur regularly so that it reduces pain and accelerates episiotomy wound healing (Manuaba, 2002). The prevalence of episiotomy in labor in Indonesia reaches 30-63% of deliveries, and increases to 93% in the delivery of the first child (Basic Health Research, 2013). OBJECTIVE - Describing maternal nursing care with post partum focus on the study of management of episiotomy wound pain in Kradenan II Health Center. METHODS- In this case report, the author uses the convenience sampling method where the research subjects are selected according to the wishes of the author who then gets 2 subjects as respondents to scientific papers.RESULT- After the assessment is carried out, a diagnosis that can be raised is acute pain associated with a physical injury agent: episiotomy.
