      Abstract
      Time Echo (TE) is a parameter that determines the amount of transverse magnetization that will decay before the echo is recorded. The longer TE will transverse magnetization decay so that the signal will be weak. Long TE will reduce SNR, and short TE will increase SNR. One of the primary parameters on the TE is the Turbo Spin Echo. Turbo Spin Echo is done to speed up scan time, by applying several pulses of 180? rephasing in one TR. This study aims to determine the effect of changes in the value of TE on the image quality and anatomical information and to know the value of TE produces optimal anatomical information.This type of research is quantitative with an experimental approach. This research began in March to April 2019 and was carried out with the MRI Philips 1.5 Tesla aircraft at Columbia Asia Hospital Semarang. Image quality data processing is done by Pearson test to find out whether there is an effect of TE value on image quality, while for anatomical information Kappa test is done to see agreement between respondents, then followed by Spearman test to determine the effect of TE values on anatomical information, and the Kruskal-Wallis test to find out the TE value that produces a level of clarity on optimal information anatomy MRI Lumbal.The results showed no effect on the quality image of MRI lumbal on the T2WI TSE sequence TE value with p value SNR (0.564), CNR (0.261) with (p> 0.05) because at SNR and CNR the coefficient correlation had a low closeness. And there is the influence of TE value changes on anatomic information on MRI Lumbal T2WI TSE sagital with indication HNP with a p value (0.000) with (p
