Abstract

The maternity labor number by health workers in health facilities were 4.222.506 people (83,14%) in 2017 (Indonesia Health Ministry, 2018). The maternity labor number by health workers in 2017 at Sarwodadi Public Health Center were 498 people (74,11%). Labor is centered in public health centre currently, that provides 24 hour for normal labor. A good midwife's performance can improve maternal labor sastisfaction.This research aimed to determine correlation between midwife performance and maternal sastisfaction in Sarwodadi Public Health Centre Pemalang Regency..The corresponding research design used descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. Sample of research were maternal labor in Sarwodadi Public Health Centre Pemalang Regency as many as 32 people. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The data collecting instrument used questionnaireThe result showed that 50% respondents said that good midwifes performance and 50% respondents said that it was lacking. There were 68,8% respondents were dissatisfied, but 31,3% respondents were satisfied. There correlation between midwife performance and maternal sastisfaction in Sarwodadi Public Health Centre Pemalang Regency (? value: 0,008).From the result of this research, expected that health workers improve the delivery services quality and midwifery care provision by psychological aspects considering of providing delivery services.
