The reason for taking 60 minutes of post contrast media injection is because of the delayed on radiograph of grade I-II hydronephrosis of the new lusen suspicion at the vesicoureter junction and slowly kidney function will decrease. The requiring additional time so that the contrast media can go down and be visualized on the full bladder vesica image. This is evidenced by the 60 minute radiograph showing that contrast media fills the urinary vesica to the maximum and can help establish a diagnosis.
