VEGETABLES AND FRUITS CONSUMPTION PATTERNS, SPORTS AND NUTRITION STATUS OF RANTING BAYAD MARTIAL ART UNITY MEMBERS AT BAYAD VILLAGES TEGALLALANG GIANYAR
Antioxidants are needed when the amount of free radicals is excessive, excessive physical activity leads to a large increase in free radicals. Antioxidants are derived from outside the body is very important contained in fruits and vegetables, the study aims to determine the pattern of fruit and vegetable consumption, frequency of exercise, and nutritional status of union members twig bayad martial arts village Bayad Tegallalang Gianyar. This research was conducted at Bayad branch located in Bayad Tegallalang Gianyar Village in April 2018 this research type is observational and cross sectional design with total sample 40 people aged 11-25 years. Nutritional status data were collected by measuring body weight and height. Data on vegetable and fruit consumption patterns were collected using SQ-FFQ form. Sports frequency data was collected by interview. The results of this study are most of the sample 97,5% have normal nutritional status. Different types of vegetables consumption 65,0% are enough , the amount of vegetables consumption 92.5% are mostly and the frequency of consuming vegetables 43.5% are enough, while the different types of fruits 80,0% are enough, amount of fruits consumption 52.5% are good and the frequency of fruit consumption 57.5% are enough. The frequency of exercise samples 55.0% are matching. There is no correlation of nutritional status with different types of vegetable and fruit consumption, nutritional status and the amount of consumption of vegetables, nutritional status and the frequency of fruit and vegetable consumption, nutritional status and sports frequency, and there is a correlation of nutritional status with the amount of consumption of fruit.
