Anemia is a nutritional problem in Indonesia. Iron Anemia Nutrition is the most common type of anemia. Of the total cases of 50% anemia caused by iron deficiency Anemia is defined as a low concentration of hemoglobin in the blood. Anemia in young women in Indonesia is still high. Prevention efforts have been done by giving tablets for young women in Indonesia. The aims of this research is to discuss hemoglobin status and the knowledge of anemia about anemia in teenagers. This was a cross sectional study using 63 samples. The study found that there were 25 samples (39,7%) experienced anemia. Most of samples had good knowledge of anemia (54%), however there were 28 samples (44.4%) with enough level of knowledge and only 1.6% with low knowledge. It is important to conduct nutritional education about anemia for teenagers.
