dc.descriptionCONSUMPTION ANALYSIS OF VEGETABLES AND FRUITS WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CHILDREN FROM PRIMARY SCHOOL IN GIANYAR REGENCY ABSTRACT Vegetables and fruit are a source of various vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and minerals are very important in the process of energy metabolism in the body. This study aims to determine the relationship between vegetable and fruit consumption with nutritional status from children in primary school. The type of this research is observational with cross sectional design done on 320 sample of students in elementary school from class V and VI. The result of this research is 91.9% samples with serving the consumption of vegetable and fruit is less, 73.4% samples with the type of vegetables and fruit consumed is not varied and 71.2% samples with the frequency of vegetables and fruit consumption in good category. This study showed a significant relationship between vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium (Ca) and iron (Fe) from vegetable and fruit consumption with nutritional status from children in primary school (p <0.05). It is important to familiarize children early to eat vegetables and fruits to meet the needs of their vitamins and minerals. Keywords: consumption of vegetables and fruits, nutritional status
