THE IMPACT OF GINGER BREAD PERSON GAMES WHICH IS MODIFIED TO THE ELEMENTARY STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE OF PERSONAL SAFETY SKILL FOR SEXUAL VIOLENCE PROTECTION IN SDN 12 SANUR.
Sexual violence is sexual activity which is carried out by force by adults to or by a child to other child. The impacts of sexual violence could be offend to children’s life and intimidate their future. To decrease the impact of it could by improves the knowledge of personal safety skill to the children. This research gives sexual education and self-protection to the students with Ginger Bread Person games media. The purpose of this research to know the effect of Ginger Bread Person games to the students’ knowledge of personal safety skill for self-protection from sexual violence. The kind of this research is Pre-Experimental Design with the layout was One-Group Pretest-Posttest used stratified random sampling, with 103 samples. The result of this research showed that the students’ knowledge of personal safety skill before gave the game mostly in the category enough that was 47 peoples (45, 6%) and after gave the game showed that the knowledge of personal safety skill were increase to the students with the most results of the students in the category good that was 83 peoples (80,6%). The result of this research tested by Wilcoxon test, the obtained value p-value = 0,0001 <alpha (0,05), then it could be concluded that H0 was rejected or there was impact by giving sexual education and self-protection from sexual violence with Ginger Bread Person games media. According the result of the research, it recommended to the teacher in the school to improve giving the self-protection materials by developing the similar games media.
