Abstract

Abstract. Efficacy of chemotherapy treatment depends on patient adherence to therap. Family support effects the patient compliance. The purpose of this study was to indentify family support, identifying compliance cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and analyzing compliance support family with cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This research is correlative with the analytic cross sectional approach on the subject. Data collected method used interview guide. Data were analyzed by the Spearman Rank Correlation Test. The result showed that the median value family support 44.5 (31-46), treatment compliance with the median value of 11 (8-12). Result of analysis of family support with treatment compliance p value <0.001 with a correlation coefficient r= 0.702. Conclusions of research results is strong positive relationship exits between family support treatment compliance in patients with cervical cancer. Midives are expected to provide education for cervical cancer patients families about the benefits of family support, especially before providing therafy to assist in patien care.
