Bolus Tracking is a method used for angiography examination of the MRI for congenital heart disease by monitoring the contrast journey to the intended organ to visualize the large blood vessels in the heart. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the use of bolus tracking method in pulmonary artery and aortic image on MRIs heart examination with congenital heart disease (CHD), with problem limitation only use bolus tracking method on MRI examination of heart with CHD by examining technique, the use of contrast, and the image results. Furthermore, the design of this research is descriptive qualitative with observation and interview method, which is done in Radiology installation of MRI in Rumah Sakit Jantung dan Pembuluh Darah Harapan Kita starting from February to April 2018 with 5 study samples using purposive non-random sampling based on the certain considerations made by the researcher. To support this research, the data was collected by using observation and interview, as for the instruments used interview recorder, observation sheet, interview sheet, MRI Phillips Achieva 1.5 Tesla and body coil. Finally, the processing and analysis of the data was performed by examining MRI image of heart with CHD by using bolus tracking method in patient. Then the data and examination results in the form of observation record, then will be conducted interviews about the use of this bolus tracking method. All data will be analyzed in narration and descriptive. The result is using bolus tracking method has been able to show good images of Pulmonary Artery and Aortic in cardiac magnetic resonance with CHD.
