      Abstract
      Siti Rahmadini Relation Between Physical Condition Of Houses And Positive AFB Pulmonary Disease In The Work Area Of ​​Andalas Health Center In 2019 Vi + 69 pages, 18 tables, 2 images, 6 attachments ABSTRACT Positive AFB pulmonary tuberculosis was still a major public health problem in Indonesia and ranks second in the world in 2016. The factors that cause Positive AFB pulmonary TB were population and home environment. This research aims determined the relation between the physical condition of the house and the incidence of Positive AFB pulmonary TB disease in the work area of ​​Andalas Health Center in 2019. This research used an observational analytic method with case control design. The case samples in this study were all people who were found to have Positive AFB pulmonary TB and were recorded as patients in August 2018 - January 2019 as many as 28 samples, while the control samples were all people who had never had pulmonary Positive AFB as many as 28 samples, for a total sample of 56 respondents. The results of the study showed 82.1% of the sample cases had a density of bedrooms that did not meet the requirements, 64.3% of the sample cases had bedroom ventilation that did not meet the requirements, 64.3% of the sample cases had bedroom lighting that did not meet the requirements, 57.1 % of the sample cases had bedroom humidity that did not meet the requirements and 42.9% of the sample cases had a type of floor that did not meet the requirements. Statistical test using Chi Square test with a significant level of 0.05 and to estimate the magnitude of the risk using Odds Ratio showed that there was a relation between bedroom occupancy density (p-value = 0,0001), bedroom ventilation area (p-value = 0.016) , bedroom lighting (p-value = 0.001), bedroom humidity (p-value = 0.006) and floor type (p-value = 0.005) with the incidence of Positive AFB pulmonary TB disease in the work area of ​​Andalas Community Health Center in 2019. From the results obtained, it was suggested that health services, especially health centers, could further improve the guidance, supervision and monitoring of programs related to smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis, conduct health home counseling, made direct visits to Positive AFB pulmonary tuberculosis patients' homes and made efforts to prevent and control TB disease Positive AFB positive.
