Dea Finola Fitri The Corelation between Married Women's Knowledge Level and Husband's Support with IUD Use in the Banja Laweh Health Center fifty cities district 2019 xiii + 59 pages + 9 tables + 3 images + 13 attachments ABSTRACT The percentage of IUD use in Indonesia is still very low. Data from the Indonesian Health Profile in 2017 shows the percentage of IUD users is only 7.15%. And West Sumatra has an IUD user use coverage of 8.09%. Data from the West Sumatra Health Office shows that the percentage of IUD users in Lima Puluh Kota Regency is 9%. Banja Laweh Health Center is one of the health centers that has a low IUD usage coverage. That is 7.1%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of PUS women and husband's support for IUD use in the working area of ​​the 2019 banja health center. The type of research used is analytic survey with cross sectional research design. The study was conducted in the working area of ​​the Banja Laweh health center in November 2018 - April 2019 and data collection was carried out in January 2019. The population of this study was all married woman in the working area of ​​the Banja Laweh Health Center. The number of respondents sampled was 64 people. Multistage random sampling sampling technique. Instrument for questionnaire data collection. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using computerized chi-square test. The results showed that 47 people (73.4%) did not use the IUD, 39 people (60.9%) married women had a poor level of knowledge, and 38 people (59.4%) had husband's support. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge of married women and IUD use (p = 0.001) and there was a relationship between husband's support and IUD use (p = 0.000) Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and support of the husband with the use of the IUD. It is expected that health workers on duty at the Banja Laweh Health Center can increase counseling for married women and husbands regarding contraceptive methods especially the IUD.
