      Abstract
      Shilvana Khamelita Pattern of Breastfeeding and Breastfeeding in Baduta Children (6-24 Months) Who Have Poor Nutritional Status in the East Parak Gadang Village of Padang City in 2019. vi + 52 pages + 16 tables + 1 picture + 12 attachments ABSTRACT The problem of malnutrition is very important, because malnutrition is also a major cause of high mortality. one of them in the Andalas Community Health Center Working Area in Padang Timur Subdistrict, East Parak Gadang Subdistrict, Padang City has a malnutrition prevalence of 10.1% from 547 under-fives weighed in 2017. The purpose of this study was to determine breastfeeding and MP-ASI patterns in poor children ( 6-24 months) who experience malnutrition in the Parak Gadang Timur Village, Padang City in 2019. This type of research is a descriptive study that illustrates the pattern of breastfeeding and breastfeeding in children under five (6-24 months) who experience malnutrition. The implementation was carried out in September 2018 until June 2019. The population and sample in this study were mothers who had under-five children as many as 30 people who experienced malnutrition. Data collection by interview with the help of questionnaires, data were analyzed using SPSS Univariate and presented in the form of frequency tables. The results of the study of 30 children with underweight nutrition showed that more than half (56.7%) of children under five who were given exclusive breastfeeding were not good. More than half (56.7%) of poor children get colostrum. More than half (60%) of under-five children receive an IMD. More than half (53.3%) of under-five children get appropriate breastfeeding time. more than half of children under five (63.3%) get poor breastfeeding. and most of the children under five (83.3%) have a frequency of giving ASI is not good. Based on the conclusion that the pattern of breastfeeding and MP-ASI is not good. and it is expected that mothers will be more attentive and care about the nutritional status of the person. Where this nutritional status can be influenced by the pattern of breastfeeding and MP-ASI. Mother is expected to be able to improve the pattern of breastfeeding and breastfeeding to improve nutritional status.
