The Relations of Hygiene Sanitary and Behavior Handler with the Contamination of Escherichia coli on Snacks in Padang Sago Elementary School, Padang Pariaman District, 2018

ABSTRACK
Snack food is a food that is very popular with elementary school children. The quality of food produced depends on personal hygiene and how to process food, if not it will have an impact on the health of the child. In Padang Sago Subdistrict, only a small proportion of the handlers proved that they applied food processing hygiene sanitary. This will have an impact on Escherichia coli contamination in foods that can cause the incidence of diarrhea to increase.
This research applied an analytical survey and cross sectional design approach conducted in September - December 2018. There were 32 handlers samples and 32 food samples in Padang Sago District.
Statistical analysis showed that no relations between hygiene sanitary and Escherichia coli contamination (Ho accepted) with p value equaled to 0,228> 0,05; there was no relations between knowledge with Escherichia coli contamination (Ho accepted) with p value equaled to 0,637> 0,05; there was no relations between attitude and Escherichia coli contamination (Ho accepted) with p value equaled to 1> 0,05 and there was no relations between personal hygiene practices and Escherichia coli contamination (Ho accepted) with p value equaled to 0,625
