This study uses descriptive methods to get an overview of the current state of market sanitation. The object of this research is all aspects of sanitation found in the Pasar Balai Tangah, the research was carried out using SIT (Sanitation Item Table), namely by observation, measurement. The results of the research conducted in the field found that aspects of market building sanitation were in good condition, fecal disposal facilities were in poor condition, clean water supply facilities were in poor condition, waste water disposal facilities were in poor condition, and waste management facilities were in poor condition. good. It is better for the manager of the Pasar Tangah Market to repair the faeces disposal facilities, the quality of the water used in daily needs, provide waterproof, closed and separate bins between organic and inorganic waste and dispose of wastewater using closed channels which are channeled to septic tanks.
