      Abstract
      Background:Health status is one reflection of human resources, an important capital in the development of a nation. Quality of human resources influenced by several factors, such as the level of education, lifestyle, environmental, and health. The purpose of this study is to analyze the association between three important factors that are affecting quality of human resources (the level of education, knowledge about environmental health and healthy living behavior) with one’s health status. Methods: The study was conducted towards adolescents, male and female, ages 10–24 years old. The sample size consists of 300 respondents from five districts in ten selected neighborhoods in Central Jakarta. Sample selection used was simple random sampling; data was collected using questionnaire, and analysis was correlation analysis method. Results:There are significant positive relationships between health statuses with knowledge about environmental health (51.6%), healthy living behavior (48.2%), and education level (47.1%). The association of these three variables together may contribute about 55% to one’s health status.
