| dc.description | Filariasis merupakan salah satu penyakit tertua dan paling melemahkan, disebabkan oleh cacing filaria yang menginfeksi jaringan limfe. Program eliminasi filariasis bertujuan agar filariasis tidak lagi menjadi masalah kesehatan pada tahun 2020. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan cakupan pengobatan massal filariasis dan keberhasilan pelaksanaannya di Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya. Kasus kronis filariasis tahun 2011 di Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya berjumlah 99 kasus terbanyak pada laki-laki, jenis cacing Brugia timori dengan Mikrofilaria rate (Mf rate) sebesar 1,16%. Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya dinyatakan endemis filariasis sehingga perlu dilakukan pengobatan massal. Cakupan pengobatan massal putaran pertama di Kabupaten sebesar 42,5%, cakupan perkecamatan cukup tinggi di Kecamatan Wewewa Barat/Puskesmas Waimangura 90,3% dan, Wewewa Selatan/Puskesmas Tena Teke 89,9%. Persentase keberhasilan pengobatan massal di Kabupaten sebesar 48,9%, sedangkan di kecamatan/puskesmas cukup tinggi pada Kecamatan Wewewa Selatan/Puskesmas Tena Teke 95,1% dan, Wewewa Barat/puskesmas Waimangura 90,3%. | en-US |
